Who You Would Be publishes unofficial personality quizzes for fans of TV shows, films and books. It is run by Philip Cartledge, a software developer in the UK, and written in American English.

The idea is simple: the internet is full of character quizzes, and most of them could swap the names around and nobody would notice. Ours are built from what the characters actually do. Every result points to the scenes that back it up, and every quiz is balanced so each character is a real possibility.

Quizzes are drafted with the help of AI tools, then checked against the source material and official episode and book information before they go up. We don't claim to have special access to any show or book, and we are not affiliated with any network, studio, streamer, publisher or author. Character and show names are used to identify what each quiz is about and belong to their owners.

We don't use stills, posters, logos or drawings of characters or actors. The colors and patterns on each quiz are our own.
